There are lots of great spots to see Christmas lights around Jacksonville, and the Jacksonville Zoo is one of our favorites every year. If you’re looking for a holiday light display that’s fun for the whole family, look no further than the Jacksonville ZOOLights Lantern Experience at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens.
So Much to See and Zoo
While you might think visiting the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens in the evening would be about the same as during the day, we’re here to tell you it’s a totally different experience. With glowing light displays, holiday music, and twinkling trees, the zoo on a holiday evening is simply magical. Stroll through the lighted walkways as you take in the zoo in a while new light.
ZOOLights Lantern Experience is Kid Friendly
If your kids love the zoo, then they’ll love attending ZOOLights during the holiday season. Walking along the zoo paths they’ll see illuminated animals such as flamingos, bears, dolphins and so much more. Everywhere you look there are animated light displays! While you won’t see many real animals at the zoo in the evening, you’ll see lots of light display animals kids can enjoy.
Take a Ride on the Carousel
One of our favorite parts about Jacksonville ZOOLights is the carousel! You ticket price includes a ride on the wildlife carousel, which is always a hit for the kids. Unfortunately, the train and 4D theater are not in operation during ZOOLights.
