While a trip to Naples with the kids can be fun, a gigantic indoor waterpark is sure to make it even more exciting to visit. Coming in 2024, Great Wolf Lodge Florida will be opening their doors.
Great Wolf Lodge Naples
The first ever Great Wolf Lodge in Florida will be located in Naples. Although that’s a 5 hour drive from Jacksonville, it’s still worth it for a fun getaway with the family. The Naples location will be the 21st Great Wolf Lodge resort in North America. This first for the Sunshine State will feature 500 family-friendly suites as well as an expansive 100,000-square-foot indoor water park.
Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park
While there are lots of great water parks that are just a short drive from Jacksonville. One of the great things about the Great Wolf Lodge is that the water park is completely indoors. No worries about park closures due to weather, at Great Wolf Lodge Florida kids will be able to enjoy slides, pools, and so much more.
Rooms at Great Wolf Lodge
It doesn’t matter if you’re visiting with a large family, or a small group, Great Wolf Lodge has rooms to accommodate everyone. You can reserve family suites, and themed suites. The themed suites are adorable with tent, cave, or log cabin decor. Many of the suites even offer bunk beds, which the kids will love.
Activities at Great Wolf Lodge
While we’re not sure yet what activities will be offered at the Great Wolf Lodge in Naples, there are lots of options at other lodges throughout the United States. Some of these include MagiQuest, and adventure where you complete quests throughout the lodge. There’s also bowling alleys, arcades, rope courses, mini golf, and build-a-bear.
Construction on the Great Wolf Lodge Florida should take 12-24 months. Grand Opening will be in spring or summer 2024.
Great, but I feel Jacksonville would’ve done better with the theme of Great Wold lodge, as we are Northern Florida and have more of a country feel. Naples doesn’t make sense to me. But okay.

Jacksonville is the best location for a Great Wolf Lodge – by far! More experienced potential workers who live here, northeast Florida, would see to it that the new park thrives. Visitors coming down from the north will be thrilled to have an indoor water park like Great Wolf Lodge available as soon as they enter Florida. The reasons for building the new lodge in the Jacksonville area are exponential!
