If you’re a fan of strawberry u-pick season here in Jacksonville, then you’re going to love blueberry picking in North Florida. While you need to drive out of town for most of the strawberry farms, Jacksonville actually is home to several locations where you can pick your own blueberries. Blueberry picking makes a great day out or day trip with the kids. Just be sure to check the farm for u-pick availability before you go and pack plenty of snacks, water, and sunscreen. U-Pick Blueberry Farms in North Florida
Abshier Blueberry Farm
Abshier Blueberry Farm is one of the furthest farms from Jacksonville on our list, at just over 2 hours away. Their season typically starts mid to late April. They offer u-pick as well as already picked blueberries.

Amber Brooke Farms
Amber Brooke Farms are family-owned and operated 100-acre u-pick and commercial farm just 2 hours from Jacksonville. They specialize in strawberries, blueberries, peaches, sunflowers, & zinnias.

Aunt Zelma’s Blueberries
Aunt Zelma’s Blueberries is located about 90 minutes south of Jacksonville. Because of their more southern location blueberries tend to ripen just a little sooner. Their season typically kicks off early April and runs until the crops are all harvested.

Blu By U Farms
Blu By U Farms is one of our favorite spots for blueberry picking in North Florida. It’s a family owned and operated farm that specializes in blueberries. Their 8 acre farm is open for visitors to pick their own berries during the growing season which starts at the end of April.

Braddock Blueberries
Braddock Blueberries is located on the Northside of Jacksonville. Their season runs from the end of May through June, or as long as the blueberries last. There are no restroom facilities so be sure to plan accordingly.

Clay Berry Ranch Farm
Clay Berry Ranch Farm is a short 90 minute drive from Jacksonville. They offer u-pick as well as pick up services to the general public and commercial buyers. Their berry season starts mid to late April.

Dowless Blueberry Farm
Dowless Blueberry Farm is a u-pick blueberry farm in Southwest Jacksonville near Argyle. They typically open after Memorial day for the season.

HNH Blueberry Farm
HNH Blueberry Farm blueberry picking an hour south of Jacksonville. Their blueberry u-pick season opens early to mid April. Make a day trip of it and visit Ravine Gardens State Park and some other Palatka favorites during the day.

Kent’s Blueberry Farm
Kent’s Blueberry Farm is a smaller site that requires you to call ahead of time to make an appointment. They have local honey in addition to u-pick blueberries. Call for information: (904) 768-3484.

Morning Belle Farms
Morning Belle Farms is technically in Georgia, but since it’s just a short drive from Jacksonville, we decided to include it in our list. About an hour north of Jacksonville, it’s an easy drive with the kids. Since they are further north, their season starts a little later than those closer to town. Look for berries from them starting in May.

Nana’s Blueberry Farm – Formerly Russell Blueberry Farms
Nana’s Blueberry Farm – Formerly Russell Blueberry Farms is located on the Northside of Jacksonville and has a u-pick season runs Memorial Day thru Independence Day. They are only open Saturday mornings unless specifically noted on their social media.

The Blueberry Ranch
The Blueberry Ranch is located in Yulee, just outside of Jacksonville. They are a family owned blueberry & vegetable farm that specializes in our organic practices. Their u-pick season runs late May through the summer.

Towers Family Farms
Towers Family Farms is a family owned and operated farm located in Palatka. Their primary u-pick crop is strawberries, but they added some blueberry bushes in 2014. Check their events page for crop availability.

May be closed – check back later in 2024 for an update! Williams Blueberry Farm is located on the Westside of Jacksonville. Their blueberry u-pick season starts at the end of May and continues through June as long as there are berries available.

Mount Dora Blueberry Festival
The Mount Dora Blueberry Festival is a local blueberry farms will sell berries freshly picked from their farms along with fresh blueberry products. There will be crafters, live music, pancake breakfast, blueberry beer, wine and a blueberry pie eating contest at this free event.
