Deck The Chairs in Jacksonville Beach is a local tradition that attracts visitors from all over. From Thanksgiving until New Years, the free holiday light display at the Seawalk Pavilion is a must see. Unlike some of our favorite neighborhood walk-through light displays, Deck the Chairs offers a spread out, attraction type feel to the display.
Deck The Chairs is Free to Attend
One of the great things about this light display in Jax Beach is that it’s totally free. Even parking is free and readily available throughout Jacksonville Beach. Because there’s no charge you can visit multiple times throughout the holiday season. It’s the perfect spot to stop by after dinner out with the family, or take your little ones and let them wander through the light display.
Giving Back to the Community
Not only doesn’t this light display offer free holiday entertainment for our Jacksonville community, Deck The Chairs is also a non-profit. That’s right, money raised by chair sponsorship goes back to our community through art education non-profits in the community. While the light display is free for visitors, chair sponsors pay for the opportunity to design a chair.
There’s Magic In The Chairs
The best part about Deck The Chairs is the originality that goes into designing them. You see everything from simple and classic holiday decor to elaborate and intricate designs. Each chair is sponsored by a business or non-profit from the Jacksonvillle community and each chair is unique. Even companies that have participated in the chair decorations for years vary their design from year to year.
