Jacksonville, did you know that just under 3 hours in Winter Haven Florida, there is a Peppa Pig Theme Park dedicated to youngsters and it is a dashing good time! Just like watching the British family the theme park is dedicated too, you get to spend the day with Peppa and all her friends at the world’s first standalone Peppa Pig Theme Park, how cool this it’s the world’s first? Also, lucky enough – this theme park sits just a muddy puddle away from the LEGOLAND Theme Park, this new addition to the resort is a perfect additional stop on your vacation.
Peppa Pig Theme Park is Great for Little Kids
The experience is advertised as a larger than life experience that brings Peppa’s imaginative world right to your kids and that is exactly what it does. This park is great for families and kids of all ages but it truly caters to toddlers and preschoolers in age range activities. This 4.5-acre theme park features multiple rides and attractions and the best part is that none of the attractions have height requirements more than 36 inches and every attraction has enough room in the seating for parents to ride alongside their children.
Dig for buried treasure at Grandad Dog’s Pirate Island, soar high up in the sky with Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, or elect to take a ride in the famous family red car with Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster and so much more. With low crowds and low wait times, this really is the ideal park for your younger babes. Outside of the interactive rides, the theme park also offers multiple themed playgrounds and a water play area with the infamous “muddy puddles” from the show. There are also a wide variety of live shows and indoor cinema shows for when you need to get out of the sun or have a seat somewhere and rest a little. One thing to note about this theme park is that it doesn’t quite have enough offerings to make it a whole day park so it’s a great option for a half day and then back to the hotel for rest and some pool time or to split the day with its neighbor, LEGOLAND. There are even theme park ticket deals where you can add Peppa Pig onto your LEGOLAND ticket and resort package as well.
Rides at Peppa Pig Theme Park
- Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, a small, preschooler-friendly coaster
- Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, where you ride Peppa’s little brother George’s beloved “dine-saur” around a prehistoric landscape with big dinos
- Granddog Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, a gentle boat ride, and
- Peppa Pig’s Balloon Adventure, where you go soaring in hot air balloon baskets
With the exception of the roller coaster (which has a 36″ height limit), there are no height limits for these rides and all of them are suitable for preschool age children and there is reported to be no waits for rides even during peak seasons for Florida tourists.
Peppa Pig Theme park Play Areas
- Peppa Pig’s treehouse
- Granny Pig’s garden
- Splash Pad Area
All of the play areas are toddler to preschooler centric playgrounds to help the kids get their wiggles out and to fill in any gaps of time during your park day!
Tips & Tricks
Here are our top tips when visiting Peppa Pig theme park to help your family have the best time at Peppa Pig Theme Park when you visit!
- The park is full of good vibes, music, vibrant colors, and this environment is great for creating fun photo opportunities. This park does offer you the ability to purchase the ride photo for Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster so you can keep that memory forever!
- Remember we are in Florida here, so if you do visit during late spring and summer months and even early fall – more than likely it will be very hot so pack and plan accordingly – lots of sunscreen, fans, cold drinks, etc.
- While Peppa Pig Theme Park is geared for the littles, guests of any age are welcome and a tadpole in tow is not required to enter. So, if you are planning to visit the area or Legoland – this is a great change up park to get a new experience!
- The park does offer something called the HERO Access Pass for guests who may have difficulty waiting in lines. It allows for one-time expedited access to select attractions for the guest and their party (up to six people). For repeat rides, you’ll receive a return time. While the assigned guest does not need to be present to get a return time, they should be present when returning to the attraction. This is somewhat similar to Disney’s DAS pass system if you are familiar but it’s only valid for that one day. Make sure you inquire about it and bring the required paperwork – there is information on the website Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida
- As we mentioned before, Peppa Pig Theme Park is perfect for a half-day visit or to take really slow and just enjoy your time. A lot of repeat goers recommend that the first thing to do upon arrival is to catch the show at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena to help get pumped for the rest of the day.
Whether you go for a half day trip, plan a slower long day, mix it with a LEGOLAND trip or do it in combination with another vacation activity – no matter how you decide to explore the Peppa Pig Theme Park with your family, you are guaranteed to have an absolutely OINKTASTIC time!
